Your answers have a purpose.
Venture Aligned uses your quiz answers to produce your purchased Business Match Report. This notice applies to the business-planning service for people aged thirteen and older.
What we collect
The quiz collects country, what you have tried, your main obstacle, time, budget, available tools, skills, customer access, and work preferences. Do not enter sensitive personal information. We use a random browser cookie to let you return to your quiz and protect your purchases. A temporary draft stays in this browser session until you clear it. Saved resource drafts are stored with your purchase and are available through your private workspace link. Unsaved edits may be cached in the current browser tab to recover interrupted work. Your reduced-motion preference is stored on this device.
We store submitted answers, matches, order references, generated reports, AI follow-up questions and answers, completed work steps, saved document edits, optional feedback, and basic service events used to prevent abuse and understand where the onboarding is difficult. An IP address, when available, is hashed for rate limiting. Stripe handles payment information; Venture Aligned does not receive your full card number.
We also count onboarding steps, back clicks, sample views, checkout attempts, confirmed purchases, report readiness, and successful PDF downloads. These events contain step identifiers and broad device type, not the answers or free text. They use a random identifier for this browser tab and are removed when you request data deletion from that tab. No third-party advertising tracker receives them.
Who processes the information
Hosting and storage are provided through OpenAI Sites and its infrastructure providers. Stripe processes checkout and payment records. For every purchased report, your quiz answers and reviewed matching offers are sent to the OpenAI API to personalize the comparison and any included plan. For earlier packages that include follow-up questions, when you ask the AI a question, we send your question, recent conversation, saved quiz answers, completed work steps, and purchased result to OpenAI to prepare a reply. Follow-up messages are stored with your purchase and removed with your data-deletion request. We do not send card details to the model.
API data is not used for training by default. We turn long-term response storage off. Background generation still temporarily stores response data for polling, and standard abuse-monitoring logs may be retained for up to thirty days unless an approved alternative applies. OpenAI API data controls.
How we use and retain it
We use information to provide the service, protect report access, troubleshoot delivery, process refunds, and assess optional feedback. We do not sell quiz answers. This version does not include advertising pixels or marketing-email enrollment. Reports stay available until you request deletion or the service closes; download a copy for your own records.
Your choices
You can edit answers before submitting, return to your draft, download purchased reports, and delete your quiz and report content from this browser below. Deletion revokes access links and removes stored report files. Limited order and payment records may be retained where needed for payment handling or legal obligations; Stripe retains its own records under its policies.
Age and consent
The service is for ages thirteen and older. We no longer ask an age question in the questionnaire. Checkout requires confirmation of 13+ eligibility and parent or guardian approval for under-eighteen users. AI guidance treats age as unknown and keeps recommendations appropriate for a potential minor. Do not use the service to enter information about a child under thirteen.

Our AI provider researches public buyer problems and competing alternatives using generalized business topics from your profile. We instruct it not to include personal identity in search queries. Source links in your results open external websites, which have their own privacy practices.
